| TWO THIRTEEN FOOT BENCHES |
In Febuary of 2002, the Creative Discovery Museum invited Frances to team up with 6th graders from
Chattanooga Middle Museum Magnet School to mural two thirteen foot benches destined for the
newly renovated Water Works space at the Museum. Two themes....A Future Chattanooga and
Chattanooga Past and Present were shared by two art classes on the two benches. One class studied
reproductions and drew buildings for Chattanooga Past and Present while the other class worked
solely from their imaginations to give vision to their idea of A Future Chattanooga. Each class worked
about 12 hours to accomplish these very beautiful products.
